Easy Speed PC belongs to the type of software called system optimizers. What all these applications have in common is that they are intended to fix Registry errors and clean junk information. In this respect, Easy Speed PC offers to do all this and a little more. As stated, the main operation is logically related to scanning and fixing the Registry. You will be able to customize this scan or to back up your Registry before actually making any changes. It can also allow you clean up private, temporary and residual files, fix invalid shortcuts and manage your startup applications. Moreover, you will also be able to optimize your system’s settings to guarantee more security and faster Internet browsing. And if you do not want to worry anymore about doing the above tasks, you will be able to let this program run as a performance monitor that will regularly check your system. The program will also allow you to schedule habitual scans.
Despite so many options included, this program’s interface is really easy to use. The different functions will appear in separate tabs; this way, the user will only have to deal with a limited set of options. What is more, some of the operations can be performed by pushing a single button.
The real value of this type of program is derived from its ability to fix errors. However, unless your computer is a total wreck, it is very difficult to decide if there is a real improvement in performance after you use the application. During several checkups to my computer, Easy Speed PC reported hundreds of errors, even after I had used some other optimizers. However, the trial version of this program will not allow you to actually fix any error.
In general, although this seems to be a fine application, there are other similar programs that are more popular among users, some of them available for free.
