As you may have guessed from its name, Easy Translation is a straightforward application intended for translating between languages. The tool supports about 32 languages, not only European but Asian as well. Since it is powered by online translation services, it requires an active Internet connection.
There is not much you should do to translate the desired text. You may begin by picking a language pair, with the source on the left and the target on the right. Likewise, it is possible to reverse the pair with a single click. Regretfully, it does not seem to support automatic detection of the input language. Then, you can type or paste the source text on the input box. After doing this, you can simply push the Translate button to proceed.
Alll in all, Easy Translation performs quite accurate translations, which you can use to communicate through an instant messenger, for instance. However, compared to similar tools accessible from your web browser, this tool does not support other useful features, like text-to-speech conversion, optical character recognition and speech recognition. For me, it does not make much sense paying for something I could get for free.
