easyLessons is a program that proves to be of great use when attempting to learn a foreign language, study for an exam or just test your knowledge in a certain subject. This app allows you to create flashcards which can contain text information to help you in the study process.
You can organize your flashcards according to their subject, search for recently made notes, duplicate or move cards, and edit lessons whenever it's necessary. The program also allows you to create your own card boxes where you can write English word definitions.
An important advantage of easyLessons is that it brings you an "Auto Define" feature which proves to be of great use when adding a new English word to your card box collection and you wish to learn its interpretation. In addition, the app lets you edit the flashcards during study sessions.
The only thing I don't like about working with this application is that it supports only one output format (CSV) when it comes to exporting flashcards.
To conclude, easyLessons is a handy app for Mac users who wish to study for tests in a simple yet efficient manner. The program is very simple to use, lets you classify your flashcards with ease, and comes with no price tag.

- The appearance of the main window has changed - The upper right text field is now a real search field to search your whole easyLessons library. While typing in this field easyLessons brings up a list of suggestions for your search. You can either open a suggested card directly or perform a full search. This opens a new detail view with the complete search result.
- The cardbox detail view has been removed - The appropriate information is now visible in the bottom bar. This bar shows the number of cards in the cardbox and a filter button. With this button you can apply different filters in order to limit the card list.
- Improved export functionality: Export cards to csv-files. These files can easily be imported in programs like numbers or excel. There are also a few iOS flashcard apps that support importing of csv files. Export the image of your card.
