eCITATION® is a cooperative effort between the NC Criminal Justice Information Network (CJIN), the NC State Highway Patrol (SHP), and the NC Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) to streamline the citation data transfer from police officers' patrol cars to the courts with minimal paperwork and data entry duplication.
