Eggscellent is a productivity utility that helps you manage your daily tasks and keep track of the progress of your work. This application lives on your Menu Bar from where you can change the way it operates, add new to-dos, access its easy-to-configure settings, and check out the built-in help manual.
The main window of the program displays a panel where you can add new to-do items, a search tool, and a button for accessing the History screen. There's also a button for immediately getting access to the Preferences panel of the app where you can define global hotkeys, set task and break intervals of time, configure audio notification settings, etc. The utility is so intuitive that you won't need to take trips to the built-in help guide for assistance.
After you add a task and click over the "Start" button a timer window will be displayed on your desktop, counting down the time you have left for completing your assignment. You can move this timer window anywhere you like on your screen, but you cannot resize it.
Furthermore, Eggscellent lacks the ability to sort the to-do items and export your tasks list.
Still, this program comes without a price and might prove to be of good use on busy work days. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth installing it on your Mac or not.
