Eihort is an OpenGL world renderer whose primary feature is a really long view distance. With a powerful GPU, you can see well beyond 1 kb (kiloblock) with a good framerate, even in a world with complex geometry.
The program is named after the deity invented by Ramsey Campbell within HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos.
