Developed by SweetP Productions, Email Address Extractor is a Mac utility that lets users extract valid email addresses from any type of text file. The extracted address can then be saved into a separate TXT file.
Its main interface has a standard look and its comprised of a few menu tabs, each with its own, specific, fields. The respective fields contain basic functions and other standard options. It could've been nice to have some options to personalize the background theme or the menu colors.
Moving on, the app provides individuals the means to scan lots of popular file types, like Keynote, Pages, Microsoft Office, PDF, SQL databases, or any type of file which contains plain ASCII text.
It must be said that it's also highly configurable, a feature that allows users to save time by creating filters to ignore certain types of files or email addresses. Additionally, it embeds an advanced URL Scraper that makes the scan of web pages or domain an easy job.
On an end note, Email Address Extractor is a tool that you can always count on when it comes to performing various tasks in regard to email issues. Yes, the price seems a bit high, but there is no perfect product.
