EMDB is a feature-rich movie and TV series cataloging utility designed for Windows PCs. This program helps you find missing information about your movies, manage wishlists and loaned lists, print or export details about your film collection, and so much more.
The tool is packed with a straightforward interface, gives you access to an efficient search utility, and provides you with multiple catalog sorting options. You can import movies or TV series from your local drives and let EMDB identify them for you. It will look for missing information on a website of your choice (I used IMDb) and import the details.
Once you finish adding items to your catalog, you can print or export the movie list directly from the program's interface. Unfortunately, the utility supports a few output formats when exporting data: CSV, TXT, and HTML.
Another thing I noticed while testing the tool was that it took a while to import the data it found online. Still, there's a chance that it isn't the program's fault; it could be my Internet connection or my PC's fault too.
Therefore, I think it's worth giving EMDB a try if you're looking for an efficient movie inventorying tool for your Windows PC. Plus, you have nothing to lose if you decide to give it a shot as the program comes without a price.
