Encore DVD is the final piece of the puzzle for many projects created using the Adobe Creative Suite of Applications. For example, if you're using Premiere or After Effects to create video, you'll need to make a DVD-Video to showcase your completed projects. Even if you're using Photoshop or Flash, at some point you'll probably want to make a DVD portfolio, so knowing the basics of Encore DVD will pay-in-spades in the long run.
