Event Reminder 2.8.10

Event Reminder is a simple application that allows you to organize important events by urgency. The program allows you to import data from a text file, Address Book or iCal. The events will be displayed in a sort of a table format, starting from the closer to the more distant ones. You will see the date of the event to remember, the name of the person involved (if any), type of event (birthday, holiday), and the number of days left.

From the Preference menu, you will be able to select the text size, date format, window transparency, the holidays you wish to display (if any), among other things. The program comes with a preset list of holidays by country, but it only includes a few, and you cannot load your own manually directly from the application. The events can be printed but you cannot add alarms to them, which is really a shame.
