Everest Dictionary is a free and complete computer dictionary essential for every-day life, equally useful for students, language professionals, and any person dealing with words and language.
The application consists of a database where you can load lots of dictionaries covering most of the European Languages, among them English, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Bulgarian, and Spanish. In addition, you will find a translator, a game to test your vocabulary, and many other interesting features.
Apart from a standard English dictionary of definitions, you will find comprehensive dictionaries of synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, and acronyms. But this is not all, it also includes specialized glossaries, with technical terminology of several areas, such as Building and construction, Economy, Militar, Medicine, the Film industry. Beesides, it is an instant translator, similar to Babylon, which can translate words or phrases with only a few clicks.
As you can see, this application cannot be more complete, and moreover, it is absolutely free. It is important to point out that the version downloaded consists only of the program only; the dictionaries should be downloaded separately from the author's website.

- Changing shortcut for Everest Instant translator. To activate it press Right Control key Right mouse click. Now Everest Instant does not capture Ctrl C keys combination.
- Creating a new shortcut for Everest Translator. Using Ctrl D combination, Everest Translator automatically translates the clipboard content. So, if you want to translate some text (using internet connection) press Ctrl C (to copy text in clipboard) and Ctrl D (to translate).
