F.A.S.T. WellTest is a pressure transient analysis program that enables you to interpret reservoir-flow characteristics and predict future deliverability based on buildup and short-term drawdown well test information. Diagnostic plots, as well as G Function and DFIT analyses for minifrac tests, are used to identify flow regimes and estimate reservoir parameters.
v7.9 [Sep 4, 2014]
Interoperable with IHS HarmonyTM 2014 v2.
· Geomechanical pressure-dependent permeability effects in oil reservoirs can now be modeled using advanced analytical models.
· The units and precision of parameters and columns in most grids are now stored with the file.
· Water injection rates now default to bbl/min (or m3/min) for minifrac tests.
· ‘Fracture gradient’ has been replaced by ‘ISIP gradient’ and ‘closure gradient’ in minifrac pre-closure analyses.
· Upgraded the wizard responsible for adjusting pressures from recorder run depth to datum depth.
· Doubled the speed of parsing data into flow periods and the speed of legacy model calculations.
