Fabled Legends: The Dark Piper is a classic of the hidden object genre. In this game, you are an inspector summoned to investigate the mysterious case of the Hamelin town. When residents were celebrating the annual Pied Piper festival, the town was infested by rats. The Dark Piper lead them with the help of a magical flute. Your task is to unravel the mystery and stop the Dark Piper. You will have to investigate every corner of Hamelin, find all items and hidden objects (some objects are to be combined before selecting), as well as solve puzzles(some of them are too simple), to get clues and attain objectives. Sometimes, in spite of hints, it is hard to understand what exactly you need and where you should go, so you are just spinning around checking everything again and again, until you reach the aim.
The game offers you three standard levels of difficulty: casual, normal, and hard. The casual and normal levels with different periodicity offer you hints, illuminate areas of interest, and allow to skip puzzles whereas all of this is inactive at the hard level.
