Fast Address Book is a Menu Bar application that provides you with an easy and quick way to find information stored in Mac's default program for storing contacts details. The utility features an integrated search tool, is very simple to handle, and lets you immediately preview contact information.
When you launch this app for the first time, you need to allow the program to import information from the Contacts tool. Only after completing the aforementioned task you can start searching contact details with the help of Fast Address Book.
Once the application finds the contact info you need, you can preview its details (mobile phone number, home number, email address, etc.) to your clipboard. The program lets you choose between various search filters, like company name, first name or email, before entering the contact info.
In my testing, the utility worked flawlessly as it offered me a quick alternative to launching Contacts app every time I needed a contact's details. This program sits on your Menu Bar, without slowing down the performance of your system and immediately offering you the info you need.
With that being said, it's worth installing this free app on your Mac if you're looking for an easy way to find contact info on your computer.
