Five Nights at Candy's Remastered is a free adventure game from indie developer Emil Macko. By the title, it is a fan-made remake of the classic horror game Five Nights At Freddy's. With improved graphics and a fresh plot, the game promises a whole new experience that will make your blood run cold.
The plot takes you into an alternative FNAF universe where you must deal with the killer animatronic FriedBack and his cohorts. Like the original, you must survive from midnight to dawn. Five Nights at Candy's Remastered boasts cameras with sharper night vision, which other rip-offs lack.
For fans of Five Nights At Freddy's, remakes of their favorite game can be a blessing or a curse, and one that is truly a blessing is the proudly fan-made Five Nights at Candy's Remastered. While most clones, such as Bear Haven Nights Horror and Nights at Cube Pizzeria 3D 4, feature second-rate graphics and sloppy gameplay, this remake is a total upgrade of the original.
The survival gameexpands on the series’ lore with a new plot, characters, and location. After Freddy Fazbear's New Pizzeria has closed for good, a new restaurant opens to the public and introduces the animatronic mascot FriedBack and his friends. As with the official series, you must survive the night in the restaurant using doors, security cameras, and other tools to defend yourself from these killer mascots.
What’s noticeable in this remake is the overall improvement in the visuals. It’s not surprising since the 3D graphics are rerendered in Blender Cycles, giving the models and materials a polished look. If you’re playing the title anytime soon, you have to be aware of the enhanced night vision of the security cameras, the new power-usage meter of each door’s button, and most importantly the specific hardware requirements.
Five Nights at Candy's Remastered is an FNAF remake that is unusually good. While most FNAF rip-offs exist for shameless reasons, mostly for the bucks, this remake intends to take fan-made games to new heights. Granted that its branding may be a bit misleading, it still delivers in terms of graphics and the plotline. Unfortunately, it’s not compatible with some older devices.
