Therefore, the utility allows you to create an empty folder which is encrypted from the very start and consequently, ready to store private information. Also, the app lets you encrypt an existing folder which you can access only with the corresponding password and respectively, it supports decrypting a locked folder for direct access. The tool provides maintenance options for the encrypted folders, meaning that it allows you to change the password and back up or restore the metadata. For situations when you want to permanently remove crucial information, you can use the shredding feature which will help you delete your data so no one can ever recover. However, the shredding may not work from first attempt, but if you try again, you will be successful.
