FontLab Studio is a feature-rich font editing application for Mac. If you work in the field of font foundries, type designers, typographers or graphic design studios then you will probably appreciate this professional font editor.
FontLab Studio is relatively fast compared to other font designing applications due to the fact that it supports direct import of vector based images like your signature or company logo. Moreover, another advantage of FontLab Studio is the fact that it displays an overview of all available characters when you create or open a certain font. Therefore, you will be able to simply add missing characters, select an existing character, and modify its appearance. Usually, font editing applications are pretty counterintuitive and rely on the users experience to be used efficiently. But this is not the case for FontLab Studio, since it offers a compact and simple-to-use interface that will allow even average users to use it properly. FontLab Studio also enables you to fix character mappings, font names and kerning pairs while allowing you to preview the font changes in real time.
FontLab Studio was especially designed for professional users that need efficient tools in order to create and manage fonts. Although the program might be considered quite expensive, in my opinion, it is worth its money.
