Forest Legends: The Call 2.0

Forest Legends: The Call of Love is a puzzle game created by Alawar company that tells the story of a forbidden love. You play as a young female who fell in love with a magical creature despised by the human kind.

You embark on a quest to save your lover's life after he was attacked by the people in your village. You will explore numerous locations looking for useful items and solving various puzzles. The app also features several mini-games where your objective is to prepare potions by following instructions (these challenges look a lot like the ones from a cooking game called Cooking Academy).

You will be accompanied by a small dragon which will offer you hints and help you get rid of multiple creatures in the forest, like bats. Plus, a journal will store all important information you collect from the explored locations.

Unfortunately, there were a few things I didn't like about this game. For starters, Aurelio's voice sounded a bit off (the accent of the lover's voice actor was clearly Russian) and the cinematics weren't as impressive as the artworks from the scenes or mini-games. Furthermore, the app lacks hidden object challenges.

Another disadvantage is the fact that you need to revisit locations regularly.

All in all, you should give this game a try if the aforementioned flaws don't mean much to you. The storyline is captivating and you have access to plenty of challenging puzzles.
