FotoJet Photo Editor is intended to edit and enhance your photographs. In contrast with other more sophisticated (and more expensive) tools, this editor is very easy to use, even if you do not have much experience in photo editing.
The interface perfectly matches the intended workflow. Therefore, it guides through the basic steps of picking the desired template, importing contents, editing and sharing the resulting images. What is more, it is possible to customize the interface to your preferences.
In my opinion, one of the best time-saving advantages of FotoJet Photo Editor is derived from the availability of a large number of templates, which means you do not need to start from scratch. Likewise, the tool supports importing practically every picture format. Next, you can start editing the photograph. In this respect, it is possible to apply corrections to such parameters as exposure, brightness, highlights, shadows and contrast. Besides, you are allowed to resize the picture as well as add frames and watermarks. Luckily, it comes with more than 50 built-in effects, including B&W, Sepia, Vintage, Lomo, Old Photo and Scene, for you to choose from.
Once you're done enhancing or editing the desired photograph, you are ready to share it with others. In this regard, the application allows uploading the file directly to various social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr. Similarly, you can save it locally as a file. Regrettably, the only output formats supported are JPG and PNG.
All in all, Fotojet Photo Editor is above all easy to use. It is actually part of a group of tools, which also includes Fotojet Graphic Designer and Fotojet Collage Maker. Besides the standalone product for Mac being reviewed here, there is also a Windows standalone as well as an online version. Fotojet Photo Editor can be purchased from the Mac App Store at a reasonable price.
