Preamble.

Twenty years ago a mentally weak woman watched the news and got scared. So she started dabbing with prepping, she even found herself a bunker in the woods.

One day after waking up in the hospital she gets told she is pregnant.

And as that baby started to grow in her belly her brain just snapped.

The woman fled to her bunker and was never seen again.

And I highlight never.

Years laterduring a simple scouting mission she falls down a ravine, gets knocked unconscious and drowns in a bog. Body never discovered, not even by her own daughter.

And now you can read this novel knowing what happened to Fran's mother, something she herself does not.

She's sitting here now, wondering where her mother has gone, feeling abandoned. Maybe it was her? Maybeshe was the reason her mother left...

Two years later she gathers enough courage toleave the woods for the first time ever.

P.S,

I did a full playthrough with Ren'Py's text to speech activated; Default Key V and it was surprisingly usable. Give it a try, if you want. :)

It also made me notice that the story does read well even without the art. So if you are vision impaired or maybe have a time with dyslexia, this could still be a visualnovel to consider.
