As its name says, Free Alarm Clock is a free tool that helps you set up alarms that will remind you of any upcoming event. It lets you set as many alarms as you like, may they be one-timers or repeating alarms. You can set the alarms only by mentioning the specific time when you want it to be triggered, plus the days of the week when you want it to repeat, but unfortunately you cannot mention a specific date in the far future or a countdown timer. You can also add text labels to your alarm so that you remember what exactly an alarm was meant to remind you of.
Furthermore, you can customize the sound of the alarm, enable the snooze function, and activate the options to turn on the monitor and wake up the computer from sleep mode when the alarm is triggered. It can even automatically turn up the volume if that's necessary. As you can see, there are plenty of handy additional features and options that make this tool one of the most appreciated and widely used of its kind, especially since it's also free.
