Free File Recovery is a program that will let you restore files that were deleted accidentally. Even if you emptied your recycle bin, Free File Recovery will still be capable of recovering those files. The program can even restore lost images from memory cards or lost songs from MP3 players.
You will need to point the program towards the drive you want to scan in search of lost files. The program will look for deleted files, and will show you the list of found objects. Then, you can sort the results by name, path, date created, last access date, last write date, or file size. You can choose which files to recover by clicking on them or you can select or deselect all files. After that, all you need to do is choose where to save the recovered files and trigger the process. Free File Recovery will save a complete copy of the deleted file/s to the chosen folder.
You will need to have .NET framework 3.5 installed to run this program. The program will prompt you to download and install it, when necessary.
The installation will place a short explanatory video to the desktop, but it may be unnecessary as it is a very easy-to-use this program.
