Free FLV to PSP Converter for Mac is a free video converter. It can be used to convert your FLV files into formats that can be played by the Playstation Portable (PSP). This converter can output files in MP4, encoded using the MPEG-4 codec or in MP3 if you want to only convert the audio track of a file.
The graphical user interface is pretty good for a free converter. It consists of a big space where the files on your conversion queue are listed. At the bottom of the screen, there is a drop-down menu where you can select the conversion profile that you want to use, and a field where you can change the destination path for your conversions. There are 8 different conversion profiles available, half for the PSP and half for the Playstation 3.
This converter doesn't have a video editor, there is no preview player, and you can trim or crop your videos. Since it is a free app, I can't really complain about that. The app works great and that is what is important.
In my testing, I converted a sample FLV file into the default PSP profile, and the conversion process was very quick. The resulting file looked almost identical to the FLV one.
