Free Lyrics Finder 1.1

Free Lyrics Finder locates and downloads lyrics for your music files automatically. Certain music files allow you to add to them some extra information - known as metadata - such as the song's lyrics, so that you can sing along while playing them. This program is capable of adding those lyrics to a music file for you, and it supports all popular audio formats, such as MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE, etc.

The program is both intuitive and easy to use. It includes a built-in tree-style file navigator for you to locate the folder containing your music files quickly and easily. Unfortunately, it does not allow you to access network drives and folders. When you select a folder, all the music files inside it are listed over a background color code for easy identification - green for the files already containing lyrics, white for those without lyrics but with the artist and title tags, and red for those files with neither lyrics nor metadata. Those colors are customizable.

Through the "Settings" window, the program can be configured to search for a song's lyrics even if only its title is available, or using the file name only (useful when in the "Artist - Title" format). Additionally, you can select the search scripts the program will use to download your lyrics. The available ones are Lyricsfreak, Megalyrics (in Russian), and Sing365. You cannot add your own scripts or delete any of the existing ones, but merely select those you want the program to use.

Back in its main interface, it provides you with a player for you to listen to your songs and with a special panel to show its lyrics, in case they are present. Finally, you can filter your song list to show only those without lyrics, and edit the title and artist information directly from within the program.
