Free Mortgage APR Calculator is a free calculator that lets us know the exact amount of a mortgage APR (annual percentage rate). We can use this utility to compare the various offers that we may receive from banks or other financial institutions. This calculator can help us know which loan suits our financial situation better.
The program features a simple UI that is very easy to manage. All we need to do is enter the home purchase value, the down payment percent, the term in years, and the interest rate. We can change the loan duration to find out the different monthly payment amounts. We can also enter the origination fees, the discount points, the prepaid mortgage interest, the mortgage insurance premiums, and several other options that will total up the fixed fees. We can access a wide range of online services and help from the toolbar. We find the calculator in the first tab window; the other tab windows are just there to give us information about two programs by the same developer: Real Estate Calculator Suite, and Home Selling Calculator. This program runs under the following operating systems: Windows Vista, XP, and 2000.
