This is a free and simple audio editor that works with MP3 and WAV files. The application works in a very straightforward manner, allowing you to edit and apply effects to audio files in order to clip songs, create ringtones, etc.
All it takes to get started is to load a music or audio file like you would do in any other program. It is possible to drag and drop files into the program window too. Once your file is loaded, the program will display the typical sound wave so you can start working. Quite frankly, there isn't a great deal of effects to apply, you can simply delete a portion of your audio file, change or maximize the volume, fade in/out, or convert it to mono/stereo.
To select a segment of your file you can simply use your mouse or use the set start/end buttons from the toolbar. When you hover your mouse over a section of the sound wave, the program will display the time in the status bar. The program also includes an audio player so you can check and listen to your audio file before doing any changes. You can resize the window if you want to work with more ease.
All in all, it's a free program that works very well and lets you apply simple effects to your audio files.
