Free One Click ZIP & RAR Wizard is a no-nonsense kind of program that anyone who wants to create ZIP files or to unpack archive files – with either a ZIP or RAR extension –should seriously consider. Its simplicity of use is most probably its main asset, and the ZIP files produced are just as reliable as those produced using the “official” ZIP utility we all know and love.
Its one-screen interface offers no more information or functionality than the one you need to unpack a ZIP or RAR archive file or to create a new ZIP container. When clicking on one of them, a Windows dialog opens to let you select either an archive to be unpacked, or files and/or folders to be zipped. The output folder is selected during the installation process, and it will open automatically every time a new ZIP file has been created. The default input folder has also been set previously when installing the tool, but you can always navigate to a different one.
No settings, no options, no confusing technicalities – just the three buttons you require to perform the simple tasks described. As the program states very clearly (twice) – “That’s all there is to it!”.
