FSE for Mac OS X is an application that monitors and displays all file system modifications occurring on a Macintosh computer running Mac OS X. It logs all changes, even those that the user is unaware of, and displays the full path name of each file being modified as well as the processes and applications that are making the modifications. FSE can be used to identify background applications.
