Furiganify! is a lightweight extension application for Safari that adds Furigana reading aids (Ruby characters) to Japanese text. Both Latin characters (Romaji) and Hiragana can be used. Furigana can be added to the whole web page or only to a selected segment.

- Furiganify now uses the modern WebExtension APIs to add Furigana to webpages. This provides additional privacy protections - Furiganify! is only able to interact with webpages that you - the user - explicitly select. In practice, this makes little difference apart from a differently colored icon. Privacy has always be a key feature of Furiganify! and nothing besides the current webpage was ever accessed.
- As always, all processing is happening on your device and no data about the webpages you visit or their content leaves your Mac.
