GameSave Manager is an application designed to help you backup your saved games. Therefore, whenever your system might crash due to a virus attack or a system failure, all your saved games will be securely stored. When you launch the application for the first time, a welcome window will appear, which will prompt you to configure the program's settings according to your needs, as well as allow you to make suggestions for improvement of the developer. This software supports formats like GSBA, GSDU and GSMS.
As soon as you start the program, it will scan your computer for supported gamesaves. The length of the scanning process depends on your system's overall performance, so you might find this aspect disadvantageous if your computer's processing speed is low. After this step, the program will display a list with all found entries, and it then enables you to start checking the ones that you wish to back up. If you want to restore your backups later, you should just select the "Restore Gamesaves" option, and choose the entries that need to be restored.
Furthermore, the application will also conveniently allow you to schedule tasks, meaning that you can program GameSave Manager to back up your game saves at any interval you like. Another significant advantage of using this program is the fact that it includes a helpful utility, the Steam Spreader, which enables you to safely change the location of your game installs, even after the games have been set up on your system.
In conclusion, GameSave Manager comes across as a simple, but very useful for storing all your game saves. The program is all the more appreciable, as there are hardly any other similar applications on the market.
