Garmin Connect™ is a free app for connecting your compatible Garmin devices to the Garmin Connect™ service. This app allows you to do a variety of things, including create new workouts, build courses, and challenge your friends to compete in a race.
To create a workout, simply select an activity from the Activity Library and add the segment, distance, and duration. Then select the map type and either the outdoor or indoor segment, and the route to follow.
To build a course, select the map type and add the course, the start and finish locations, the segment and distance, and the duration.
To challenge your friends, select the Friends challenge option and select the friends you want to challenge.
