GhosteryLite is a Mac application that protects individuals against trackers that may try to access personal data, while also blocking ads. Therefore, it makes the browsing experience more enjoyable and safer at the same time.
At first glance, the app has a standard GUI, with a nicely designed main menu, and a beautiful background color. The font style is distinct from any other apps, and the contrast between the font color and the background is quite enjoyable. It would've been nice to have some skin themes or more advanced options to customize the appearance, though.
Moving on to its capabilities, Ghostery Lite is capable of automatically blocking ads and that improves the page loading time. Besides, it blocks trackers to declutter webpages.
With GhosteryLite, individuals can browse the web in incognito mode, a feature that neither remembers the browsing history nor saves cookies. Other common features include page bookmarking, auto-complete forms, and webpage share.
Briefly said, GhosteryLite is an effective tool to use when you want to browse the web safely and with a limited amount of commercials.
