GlassWire is a Windows network monitoring tool that comes with a built-in firewall to boost up your protection. The program features a user-friendly interface, gives you access to real-time, accurate network data information, and detects and blocks malware threats or misbehaving utilities.

You can use GlassWire to enhance your Internet privacy as it notifies you whenever one of your desktop tools are trying to access the web. This feature might prove to be of good use if you want to prevent some of your programs from connecting to the Internet and reduce traffic data usage, hence pay less to your Internet service provider.

This utility also comes with a built-in IP scanner (see which devices are being connected to your local area network), enables you to take a snapshot of the offered graphs, and provides you with accurate network data statistics.

The only thing that bothers me is that there are times when the program can be a bit rough on resources (around 20% CPU resources).
