Go Launcher Z (formerly Go Launcher EX) is a home screen customization app that replaces your stock Android launcher.
Like all Android launchers, Go Launcher Z essentially changes the look at feel of your home screen, as well as adding new functionality.
There are more than 10,000 personalized themes to choose from in Go Launcher Z, as well as lots of transition effects you can apply to get your home screen looking super slick. Go Launcher Z comes with several widgets such as weather, battery monitor, optimization, clock, calendar, etc.
Installing GO Launcher Z is easy, but the initial launch includes a lot of placeholders for the various widgets and tools that Go Launcher has developed. These widgets do not do anything except link to the Google Play store so you can download them.
If you want to customize GO Launcher Z, you'll be spending a lot of time initially removing all the associated apps that Go Launcher wants to you install.
That said, once it's all set up, GO Launcher Z gives you a smooth ride through your device's home screem. For instance, there's a panel that gives you instant access to frequently-used features, and you have the ability to launch apps using gestures.
There are other launchers that don't include first-party in-app links, such as Nova Launcher or Apex, which are a less-intrusive option for users looking for a similar experience. As a launcher, GO Launcher Z works well, but includes too many 'ads' for its own apps.
