Governor of Poker is a highly addictive card game where you can play Texas Hold'Em against computer players. The app features nicely drawn animations and fitting sound effects, lets you choose between various game modes, and automatically saves your gameplay progress.
At the beginning of the game you're given a certain amount of money which you can use to acquire transport assets, entering fee for tournaments, etc. The more poker games you win, the more coins you'll have to spare on real estates. You can buy all buildings within the cities you visit.
The app also provides you with a detailed help guide which you can access at any time. This feature might come in handy to novice poker players.
There's just one annoying bug when playing in tournaments with more than 8 players (players are moving from one table to another from time to time). If the player that wins the last hand is sent to another table, you cannot advance and win the tournament.
In my opinion, if you like the plot and gameplay of Governor of Poker you should try the next installments of this game. They don't bring you the aforementioned bug and come with an affordable price.
