Carl Johnson, after fleeing the challenging life in Los Santos, San Andreas five years ago, must return to his hometown in the early 90s. In Los Santos, a city mired in gang conflicts, drug issues, and rampant corruption, even celebrities and wealthy individuals strive to steer clear of the dangerous underworld. However, Carl's return is overshadowed by tragedy, as his mother has been killed, his family has fragmented, and his childhood friends are on a perilous path to destruction.
