There are so many solitaire games out there that it's hard to find one that offers something different. GrassGames Free Solitaire 3D doesn't really, but it is very well presented.
On starting the game you can choose your screen preferences such as the resolution, screen frequency and anti-aliasing which I'm not sure makes any difference at all whichever setting you put it on. You even have control over the texture of the cards and table so this is definitely one for the solitaire connoisseurs. You can enter your name and then the country you're playing in as GrassGames Free Solitaire 3D publishes scores online based on country.
Once this is done, you can select from a mind-boggling number of games from Gaps, Klondike and FreeCell to La Belle Lucie, Las Vegas Solitaire and Harp. Note that only a handful of the games are free however - you'll have to upgrade to access the rest of the games. The game is very well presented and gives a professional feel and look to solitaire. Each game is ranked by decks, difficulty and skill so you know what you're getting yourself into.
