Challenging puzzle-platformer in retro 2D

Gravitorium is a puzzle game from Pale Blue Pixel Studio. This features 2D platforming as you alter gravity by rotating the very stage you’re on. Guide the spaceman to the exit, getting items and avoiding traps along the way. The puzzles are greatly varied, too. Some levels require fast reflexes while others require interaction with objects in order to progress.

With a visual appeal and the fun, unpredictable challenges of There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension, Gravitorium is an enjoyable game you won’t put down, even against the more challenging stages. It even has minimal system requirements.

Send the spaceman hurtling through space

In Gravitorium, you guide the one-eyed spaceman through various sci-fi environments, from spaceships to hostile planets. The goal is the same: guide him to the exit. However, the game gets progressively more challenging. There is no jump button. You can only help the spaceman walk sideways and rotate the level at 90-degree angles, sending him hurtling through the space. Thankfully, you can try as much as you want.

There are over a hundred levels available, most of them featuring unique gimmicks. In some cases, you only need to flip the levels in a certain order to achieve the required interactions and guide the spaceman to the exit. Adding to the fun is its high-resolution pixel art, which also lends to surprisingly precise hitboxes. From lasers to electric beams, this will also require precise positioning to succeed.

Lastly, the game has some pretty light system requirements. It works with 2 GHz processors and only requires 500MB of storage space. The only catch in this game is that some levels are exceptionally challenging. The steep difficulty can be compared to a shorter Path of Pain in Hollow Knight, or Farewell in Celeste. Still, this challenge plus the smooth animation makes it perfect for speedrunning gamers.

Mind-boggling precision platformer

Gravitorium offers a thrilling and challenging experience, guiding a one-eyed spaceman through over a hundred unique levels. With its high-resolution pixel art and precise hitboxes, players must master level rotation and precise positioning to succeed. Despite its light system requirements, the game presents steep difficulty spikes across its playthrough, making it ideal for speedrunning enthusiasts. Enjoy endless retries in this captivating sci-fi adventure.
