Welcome to Grizzly Grove! in this game you take the role of a 27 years old young man, named Ryan McBright (name can be customized), who returns to his hometown, Grizzly Grove, a big Coastal city, after a 10-year absence. 10 years ago you left your family's house to live with your uncle after a very strong argument with your mother. You lived with him for the last 10 years, finishing high school and then working for his business. And you could have your life apart from this city forever...
But you are not the type of guy that runs away. Eventually, you make the decision to come back, and with the help of your uncle, you rent an apartment on Grizzly and try to make your life here. Will you succeed? or will you return to your uncle's house with your tail between your legs? it's all up to you.
NOTE: Please note that, due to file limitations on itch, the online version won't have any media displayed on sex scenes. HOWEVER, the files are in the offline version, so for the complete experience I recommend to download the offline version.
I used a host owned by a dear friend of mine, but right now he's having some problems, and I can't use his account anymore. So until I find another host, the sex scenes don't have any media on the online version.
The game is a Sandbox, heavily text-based. Centered on Gay romance. You'll choose your own path in Grizzly Grove city. The main idea is to navigate and enter one of many storylines available, as well as explore the various locations through the city, meet various characters, and have some fun in the process. The city is full of hairy, daddy-looking guys (now you see why the grizzly on the game's name?).
The first storyline is centered around the first job presented, JCS male cleaner. JCS, or Jockstrap Cleaning Services, is a company founded by your landlord, Dalton. It's the equivalent of the female maid companies, but instead of using a boring butler uniform, the cleaners just wear jockstraps. You'll enter at the most basic level, as a lowly assistant and you will work your way to the top, with a chance to romance Dalton himself. The three levels are complete and the romance arc is finished.
There is an additional storyline. It's the Gym Storyline, where you'll compete in the underground fighting competition called "Bear Fist Tournament" for a big prize of 1000$. Along the way, you have the chance to romance your coach, Garrett Kennedy. After you win the tournament, you'll have access to the mini interactive epilogue, "Road to the belt" that covers your life after you finally marry him.
More storylines will be added. I have planned a lot more in advance. For example, the Bear's Den salesman storyline, where you will face your mother and take part in the family's business, or the Ursus hideout brothel, where you will work as a sex worker or adult video star.
Only 4 places are available as of this update: Home, the mall, JCS, and the gym. Many more will be added in future updates.

Where is the cheat password?
For every main release, I change the password. It's on the changelog section in the game itself, understroke. For example, for this initial release, 0.18c, the password is on the 0.18 section. That way I make players read the changelog (or at least I try).
Is the MC top? Bottom? dominant or sub?
First, let's tackle the top/bottom subject. Ryan (the MC) is canonically versatile, meaning he tops and bottoms. There is no way to switch off bottom or top scenes. Of course, you can opt out of most of sex scenes or avoid top or bottom sections, that is a core feature. But in some sex scenes mandatory in the story, if you skip some parts, it may end in a game over, so sometimes you have to top or bottom no matter your preferences. The game has a LOT of bottom scenes. Right now I'm working on balancing that out in the prison and Ursus storylines, but in JCS and Gym storylines it will be mostly bottom content. So, TL;DR version: There are a lot of bottom scenes, than top scenes right now in the game. I'll update this later when the newer storylines are finished, where I intend to balance the content.
And now the Dom/Sub content. Just like the bottom issue, I seem to favor sub content over dom content, but I'm working actively to correct that. You can take a more dominant approach on the last part of JCS storyline, but in the gym storyline with Garrett is only a sub approach. Future storylines like Ursus or Prison will feature more dom content.
What is the adult content in this game, or what kinks/fetishes you included?
Good question, I wasn't sure if I could be explicit here on itch, but to be transparent to the players, I'll list them along with how much content is in the game as of the 0.18d version:
Vanilla sex: Anal and Oral (Top and bottom). Checked by default and mandatory in some scenes. There is a lot of content about that. BDSM: There are no storylines centered on it (yet) but some scenes are totally into it. Some of the BDSM kinks I've included: Electro stimulation, whipping, bondage, leather, caning, breath control (underwater), wax play, clothespin play, waterboarding, Foot fisting and Feet worship. Chastity: Part of one BDSM scene. It will have a dedicated entire storyline to this kink. Uniforms: One scene. More scenes will be added in the future. Vaginal Sex: Yes, there is a scene with vaginal sex, but it's of a scene with a trans men. Read below. Trans Men: There is one scene with a trans men (FtM, with his vagina). There are more scenes planned with them, even a love interest with his storyline. Fisting: two or three scenes. Threesome: four or five scenes. Orgy: Two scenes. Prostitution: Well, you can say that the JCS job has its share of prostitution Sissification: One scene. It's NOT the MC who is sissified on the scene though, and I'm not planning any more content on this fetish. Toys: One or two scenes, mostly with dildos. Humiliation/Abuse: there are some scenes about it, and Garrett's epilogue is centered on that. There is a warning about that. Watersports: three or four scenes. Dilfs: Yeah, lots of dilf/hairy looking men on this game. I guess the game's title is a warning, eh? Interracial: four scenes. Multiple penetration: One or two scenes. Handjob: One scene.
There is more content planned, including a whole storyline focused on chastity (no sissification there. It's a big kink of mine), uniforms, trans men (Female to Male). I'm not including incest or rape in this game though.
I don't want to see x fetish or action in sex!
No problem, every fetish other than the standard vanilla sex is totally optional and unchecked by default. Even on mandatory scenes you can opt out to see only the text blurred (click it to show).
Is M/M sex avoidable? is there M/F or F/F?
The MC is gay, so F/M and F/F are out of the picture. But ironically, yeah, almost every sex encounter (except a few ones that are mandatory by story) can be avoided completely.
What love interests are here?
As of 0.20, the only romance options finished are Garrett Kennedy (your fighting coach) and Dalton Jhonson (your landlord and boss on the JCS storyline). More will be added in the future, like Mack Williams (the owner of Ursus Brothel) and many others I won't spoil here.
Can I have more than one love interest?
No. Once you're set on one, the others lockout.
How do I access an X site or meet x person?
There is a complete walkthrough on the help section of the game, it should clear almost every doubt.
I can't run the game!! what should I do?
The game was developed with desktop platforms in mind, at a base resolution of 1280x1024. I tested it on windows 10 on Firefox (recommended), Chrome, Edge, and Opera. Linux and MacOSX SHOULD work but I have no idea if they work, so more feedback is welcome.
On Mobile, I managed to get it running on android (I tested it through joiplay using NOX emulator on PC) and more recently, I ran it on an old android tablet using Chrome so I can say it works on android, but may be uncomfortable to play on devices with smaller resolutions (like smartphones). On iOS was difficult. I have an old iPhone 5S, with iOS 12 and safari, and the game doesn't run there. My guess? if you have another browser than safari it might work, but I'm not sure.
One note: The game uses a lot of webp images and webm vids, so it's recommended that your browser supports them. The only browser that gave me problems was Safari on iOS 12. I've read that on MacOSX (and iOS 13 and later) Safari supports it but I can't check if it's true.
