This app is the third installment from the Haunted Halls series developed by ERS Game Studios. The story continues with the main character attempting to rescue the innocent people that are trapped in Blackmore's building by a malicious doctor.
You are trapped in the doctor's lab and your objective is to rescue the captured people, including your fiancé. You will need to explore various chambers, collect useful items, and solve numerous puzzles. The app provides you with useful hints and an integrated help guide which come in handy whenever you're unsure how to advance in your mission.
The animations are quite scary as well as off-putting showing plenty of tentacles that appear from ceiling cracks and spider webs in every room. Also, the background music and sound effects play a huge part in creating a scary environment. In my opinion, this game isn't suitable for minor users as it's a perfect source for nightmares.
The only thing that bothered me while playing the game was that I had to restart it in order to toggle windowed mode. The same thing goes when changing from windowed to fullscreen mode. However, it isn't a big deal.
So, it's worth buying this app if you're into playing hidden object adventure games in your spare time. The game features an interesting plot, has numerous challenging puzzles, and is cheap.
