This app is a special edition of the Haunted Legends: The Bronze Horseman game developed by ERS Game Studios. Besides offering you the challenges from the basic release of the game, this app also provides you with a detailed strategy guide, wallpapers, screensavers, and several extra puzzles.
You play as a detective who investigates the disappearance of a young male within a flooded town. As you try to get to the bottom of your case you discover that some of the residents blame a bronze statue for disappearance of the people within the town.
The app brings you plenty of challenging puzzles, automatically saves your progress, and lets you create multiple player profiles. What's more, a built-in help guide teaches you how to move from one location to another, read diary entries, etc.
My only concern regarding this game is that it doesn't offer you any hints between challenges. For instance, there was a time in my testing when I didn't know how to proceed to another location or where to find a new clue. It would be great if there was a Hint option to use when this type of events occurs.
Nevertheless, the app gives you access to hints when playing the hidden object games. And if you're stuck between challenges, you can use the built-in strategy guide for assistance.
Briefly, I'd say it's worth buying Haunted Legends: The Bronze Horseman Collector's Edition for your Mac. This puzzle game is very addictive and entertaining, brings nicely-drawn graphics and cinematics, and comes with a reasonable price.
