HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a technique used in photography to enhance the luminosity level of a certain picture. This utility was created for Mac users to help them easily generate quality HDR pictures by using personal photos or multiple exposures from their local folders.
You can import images of various formats, such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, GIF, etc. If you load multiple exposures that have different resolutions, HDRtist can automatically make the necessary changes so that all photos fit a certain size profile. Afterwards, all you need to do is adjust the Strength level (on the bottom side of the interface) and click the "Save HDR" button to export the resulted picture.
Unfortunately, there's not much to say about this app when it comes to features. It gives you access to a limited amount of image editing options and supports only 2 output formats (JPEG or TIFF).
You can find another variant of the program on the homepage of the developer that provides you with extra features (such as additional image editing options) but it's not available for free like the Standard version. However, you can try the Pro variant on your Mac, edit a picture, and see that it's worth buying it if you plan to use it regularly.
