Runaway Bus is an action game for kids in which you must help Arnold prevent a corporation from bulldozing his neighborhood. The game includes three modes: Crazy, Runaway, and Cruise. In Crazy mode you have to pick up and drop as many members of the gang as possible. If you don't complete your task in the time given, the game is over. You have to follow the instructions and the on-screen direction arrow to your destination. Then come to a complete stop within the target to pick up or drop off your passengers. Remember that the faster you do it, the more points you get.
In its turn, in Runaway mode you have to grab as many tomatoes as possible before the time runs out. You'll also have to avoid the Bulldozers and pedestrians. To get more points you must grab all the tomatoes and get other power-ups. Finally, in Cruise mode you must also pick up and drop off the gang, but there's no time limit. All modes allow you to play with up to 4 players, you can select from three different difficulty levels and even select the bus driver.
Moreover, the game features nice but not very detailed graphics, giving the appearance of an old game. Sound effects and music are fine, although the latter gets annoying after some time. In short, Hey Arnold! Runaway Bus is a nice action game for kids that will surely keep them entertained for a while.
