Help Austin the Butler in his quest to renovate the mansion by playing a fun colour matching game. Unlock chapters and progress the story.
Homescapes is really a mixture of two game types. The main game aspect comes in the form of a simple match three puzzler, similar in style to popular games like Candy Crush. This game mechanic comes in to play when you are required to do something in the story, which you achieve by completing these match three puzzles. The other game type is a less interactive visual novel. As you progress through the game you, you get to see the story of Austin's quest to renovate the mansion unfold. You can also choose the decoration of the mansion. Homescapes has a very pleasant cartoon art style which is nicely executed. The game is free, but there are in-game purchases that will allow you to progress more easily.
While Homescapes is a lot of fun, it seems to be heavily geared towards making you spend real money to progress. Levels quickly become near-impossible without paid-for boosters, and the rewards are very low compared to the cost of in-game items.
