Modding tool for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

Horizon Modding Kernel is a free game utility made by indie developer Zheka Smirnov. It is a modding platform and loader for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and other games. With it, users can installmods into games, as well as patch and update existing ones, all from the app itself.

Much like HappyMod or MT Manager, Horizon Modding Kernel makes the process simpler for modders and developers to make changes or add elements to existing apps with all the necessary tools they need. What makes it different is that it was specifically made to be used with video games.

Mod any game

Game modding is becoming more commonplace than it once was when it was considered hacking to make any kind of changes to games. Nowadays, developers embrace the idea and let players modify their favorite games to their liking. If you're big into mobile gaming and want to create mods for your favorite titles, then Horizon Modding Kernel is an interesting platform to check out.

This program is described as a platform that can let you add mods to various games but has a preference for those made with Unity, the popular game engine. What's more, mods made with the mod loader, Inner Core, by the same dev, are compatible with it and will work without issues. It comes running newer versions of Minecraft and is able to run multiple mod packs simultaneously.

Other notable features include support for several modding APIs, new in-game items and blocks, as well as an improved and more powerful UI system. There are some things that need more work and attention, though. The first is the occasional random crashes that it has and the second is the lack of proper documentation, making it a lot harder to figure out tools and options.

A solid game modding tool

In summary, if you're looking for a new development platform to help you mod Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and other games, Horizon Modding Kernel is a solid option to consider. It has backward compatibility with Inner Core and introduces a lot of new features and more powerful tools to take advantage of. The lack of documentation makes it harder to learn. Nevertheless, it's worth checking out.
