HottestCorners is a tiny menu bar app that allows you to run applications installed on your computer by moving the mouse pointer to any screen corner. It comes with separate control for Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left and Lower Right corners. The tool operates seamlessly when any additional external display gets connected or disconnected. Optionally, you can pause HottestCorners when you don't need it.
