iBench is Mac utility that enables you to run various types of tests and see how your system is behaving. This program gives you access to a comprehensive help manual, uses minimum CPU resources while testing your system, and comes without a price tag.
All you need to do is to click the "Launch tests" button from the main window of the tool and wait for the results. The offered information can be exported to your local directories if needed. Unfortunately, you don't have access to the ability to compare the offered details with the results of other tests. Other benchmarking programs provide you with this useful feature.
Another thing that bothers me is that, while the tests are running, various image files are being exported to your desktop. Some of them make no sense. For example, one picture named "JPEG" displays a gray-colored image, without any attached comments or at least a simple description to help you understand what it means or shows in the image.
Still, iBench is a free solution for benchmarking your system. So, you have nothing to lose if you decide to give it a shot on your Mac.
