iCanHazShortcut is intended to manage keyboard shortcuts for your operating system. This way, using the keyboard to directly access multiple system operations saves you time. In addition, it has the convenience that you can use custom combinations that are easy to remember.
The application interface is very simple and has three tabs: Shortcuts, References and About. From the Shortcuts tab you can easily manage the list of combinations. For example, it is possible to display a certain combination, the associated action and the corresponding command. Likewise, you can disable specific shortcuts.
From the list, you can edit existing entries. You can also create new shortcuts by describing the action, entering the necessary command and pressing the associated key combination. Fortunately, the application comes with several examples of actions that you can use directly. It is also good that it allows you to test the new shortcut before saving it permanently.
Although the application works perfectly, there are several features present in other similar products that it does not support. Just as a wish: it could allow managing mouse gestures as well.
In short, iCanHazShortcut allows you to customize the keyboard shortcuts that you use most often. In this sense, it prevents you from constantly switching to the mouse to perform certain operations. Therefore, it is a simple application with a great impact on your productivity. It is fortunate that this product is opensource, so you can use it or try it for free.
