Icon Slate is a multi-platform icon creator. The program is designed to help you create various types of app icons, optimized for use with both desktop and mobile applications.
The utility has a simple and easy-to-use interface, with all functions displayed on the main window so that they can be enabled with ease. Therefore, you just need to import the image you wish to process, select the output format, tailor the format configuration if necessary, and click on the "Build" button to create your icon.
The application supports various types of image formats. The file loading operation is done either by browsing for files from within the app or by drag-and-drop, as you most prefer. Once the output format is selected, you can customize the icon's appearance by selecting your favorite icon shape among five different layouts. In addition, you can change the background color in order to check the icon's appearance on different backgrounds.

iPad and iPhone are now two distinct formats. The exported files are now recognized automatically by XCode when dragged on an app icon asset.
