iCoolsoft iPad Software Pack for Mac is a suite of utilities. There are four apps in the suite: DVD to iPad Converter for Mac, iPad Converter for Mac, iPad Manager for Mac and iPhone Ringtone Maker for Mac. The suite sells for $45, which is way cheaper than buying each of these apps separately.
The apps are launched in a new window from a launcher. All of them share a similar design.
DVD to iPad Converter for Mac lets you convert your DVD movies into formats that play well on your iPad and other Apple devices. The supported output formats are MPEG-4, H.264, M4V and MOV.
The video converter supports the same formats but it can open pretty much any video file. Both apps have a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and adjust their brightness and contrast.
Then, we have the iPad manager app. This one lets you download your music and movies from the iPad to your Mac and it lets you put content on the iPad as well, without using iTunes. It has a built-in video converter that is used when the file that you want to copy to your iPad isn't supported.
The last app is a ringtone maker. There isn't much use for this on an iPad, but it is a nice extra if you have an iPhone.
